.Tattoo Artist Guest & Collaboration Policy Mizoo Ink

This policy is designed to keep the working system, percentages, commissions, and material costs clear for every artist from the beginning and to avoid any misunderstandings.

1. Artist Brings Their Own Client & Performs the Tattoo

80% goes to the artist
20% goes to the studio
* The artist provides their own basic tattoo supplies.
Example: Tattoo price: €100 Artist: €80 Studio: €20

2. Artist Brings a Client & the Studio Performs the Tattoo

If an artist brings or refers a client but the tattoo is performed by the studio:
50% goes to the artist who brought the client
50% goes to the studio / performing artist
* Basic tattoo supplies are provided by the studio.
Example: Tattoo price: €100 Referring artist: €50 Studio / performing artist: €50

3. Artist Performs a Tattoo for a Studio Client

If the client belongs to or was provided by the studio:
50% goes to the performing artist.
50% goes to the studio.
* Basic tattoo supplies are provided by the studio.
Example: Tattoo price: €100 Artist: €50 Studio: €50

4. Using Studio Supplies

If the artist is responsible for providing their own supplies but chooses to use supplies from the studio:
The artist only pays the actual cost price of the materials used.
The studio does not add any profit or markup to the supplies.
Using studio supplies does not change the agreed percentage split.

5. Salesperson / External Referral Commission

If a client comes through a salesperson, promoter, or another person who receives a commission, the commission is not paid by the artist alone.
The commission is shared between the artist and the studio according to their percentage of the tattoo.
For an 80% Artist / 20% Studio agreement:
The artist covers 80% of the external commission.
The studio covers 20% of the external commission.

Example Tattoo price: €280
Salesperson commission: 15% = €42 Before commission: Artist (80%) = €224 Studio (20%) = €56
The €42 commission is shared as follows:
Artist covers 80% = €33.60
Studio covers 20% = €8.40
Final payment:
Artist receives: €190.40
Studio receives: €47.60
Salesperson receives: €42
The same principle applies to any external commission: each party covers the commission according to their percentage of the tattoo.

6. General Studio Rules

- The final tattoo price must be agreed upon before starting the work.
- Any discount offered to a client must be agreed upon in advance.
- Any client coming through the studio’s social media, website, Google, WhatsApp, advertising, or any other studio marketing channel is considered a studio client.
- All percentages, commissions, and additional costs must be clear before the session begins.
- Payments and percentage splits are calculated after the session and after payment has been received from the client.
- Tips are not included in the percentage split. Any tip belongs 100% to the artist who performed the tattoo.
- Every artist must follow the studio’s hygiene, sterilization, and safety standards.
- Each artist is responsible for keeping their workstation clean and organized after every session.
- Studio clients may not be redirected or taken outside the studio for private work without prior agreement with the studio.
- By starting work at Mizoo Ink, the artist confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these working conditions and percentage arrangements.
The purpose of this system is simple: everything should be clear from the beginning, and every person involved should receive their fair share without misunderstandings.
